CLARIN-IT @ FAIRsFAIR National Roadshow in Italy

CLARIN-IT, through its member ILC-CNR, will be present at Teaching and training FAIR to HEI in Italy. National Roadshow in Italy (Zoom, 09/02/2022), organized by the FAIRsFAIR project in collaboration with the Italian Computing and Data Infrastructure (ICDI), and the EOSC Pillar project.

Experts from the Italian education and research panorama will debate about how to support higher education institutions with the practical implementation of FAIR principles. Good practices and success stories will also be presented relating to the introduction of Data Stewards, figures specialized in Research Data Management (RDM) and in the adoption of FAIR policies within Italian university curricula and training.

Francesca Frontini (ILC-CNR | CLARIN-IT | CLARIN ERIC) will present a contribute entitled A common curriculum for professional staff: an overview of the works at the 'Data stewardship curricula and career paths' EOSC Task Force.

The event, which will be held in Italian, is addressed to university teachers and other professionals involved in the design and implementation of higher education programmes at different levels as well as data practitioners and trainers with an interest to support higher education institutions in this regard, including Data stewards, University Professors, Course designers, Research assistants, Training staff at Research institutes, PhDs.
