A CLARIN Mobility Grant to an Italian Researcher

From 4th to 7th December 2017 Silvia Calamai (researcher at the Department of Education, Humanities and Intercultural Communication of the University of Siena) took advantage of a CLARIN Mobility Grant to visit the Centre of CLARIN-D constituted by the Bavarian Archive for Speech Signals (BAS) of the Department II of the Fakultät 13 of the Ludwig Maximilians Universität München.
The funded short visit took place in the framework of CLARIN-IT (nationally coordinated by Monica Monachini).
The aim was to gain a deeper understanding of CLARIN-D speech tools and a better working knowledge on how to manage oral archives data with respect to the BAS standards, also to advise and help the CLARIN-IT members on such issues (with particular attention to the members of the Italian Association of Oral History).
